About the role The main focus of this role is to provide leadership and deliver high level, client-focused nutrition and dietetic services to patients of the NWHHS Renal Service and Renal Dialysis Units of the Mount Isa Hospital and any affiliated outreach sites - mainly at Cloncurry, Doomadgee and Mornington Island.p> Utilise high level clinical skills and abilities in clinical dietetics, food service management, community dietetics/nutrition and child development by way of performing assessments using accepted clinical tools, treatment methods, intervention, and multidisciplinary management of patients.p> Independently manage non-routine, complex clinical integrating evidence-based in the planning, implementation and evaluation of client treatment and delivery of health care.p> Requirements Mandatory requirements are a relevant tertiary degree qualification and Accredited Practicing Dietitian status.r>C Class Motor Vehicle Licence - this role involves travel to remote sites by car and air with overnight stays up to 3 nights for provision of outreach services.r>Aged Care pre-employment screening be undertaken for the successful applicant.r>This is a VPD risk role and require evidence of vaccination or immunity to Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, Tuberculosis and COVID-.r>A 6-month period of probation apply.r>
