About the roleSouth West Healthcare (SWH) is seeking suitable qualified and experienced Senior Mental Health Clinicians, to join our Centralised Triage team. The team provides mental health screening assessments and directs care to the most appropriate team for assessment and treatment or provides warm referral to an appropriate provider if mental health services are not best placed to meet the need. As Senior Clinician, you will be responsible for providing recovery oriented and trauma informed mental health triage and provide clinical support and leadership to colleagues within in the centralised triage team across a 24/7 roster.This is a permanent full-time position (80 hours per fortnight) with a monthly ADO. Part time applications will be considered for the right candidate.This position is eligible for an incentive payment for rent, childcare, relocation costs and more, as part of the new workforce and incentive grants program administered by Rural Agency Workforce Victoria (RWAV). What you bringThe successful applicant will hold relevant professional qualifications in a health-related discipline (Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Psychology or Nursing) with current Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) where applicable.Working as part of a collaborative and highly skilled team of professionals, excellent verbal and written communication skills are also essential. A comprehensive understanding and knowledge of legislation, regulation and contemporary practice is a must.
