Position Title - General Clerk About the Role -  assists in administering existing HR processes and people assisting in identifying, selecting, and securing new staff to suit client needs assisting in fostering relationships with existing clients ensuring staff files and records are maintained and updated Job Responsibilities -  Assist with the coordination of temporary and permanent recruitment processes including writing and placing job vacancy advertisements, resume screening, interviewing, reference checking, and assisting with onboarding Labour Hire staff Assist with management and development of staff, including regular check-ins both on site and online. Coordination of Uniform orders through to delivery to staff member Use of Human Resources software to meet HR and WHS requirements, Assist with incident management reporting Assist Snr Finance Officer with payroll as requested Maintain placement database, including client and staff historical data Assist with the management of day-to-day operations of LDC’s labour hire business including, coordinating training and medical booking Bolster relationships with a range of existing employers to increase employment opportunities for staff Accurately match client labour requirements with appropriately skilled staff Assist in client evaluations and assist with coaching opportunities to improve service standards Be a reliable, passionate, emotionally intelligent team member and work cooperatively with the LDC team General administrative tasks and other duties as required Skills and Experience -   Strong alignment to organisational values Qualifications or experience relevant to the role Demonstrates good understanding of blue-collar tickets and licences, the the Civil & Construction sectors Experience with Awards and relevant payroll allowances Good interpersonal skills with an ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders Effective time management and planning, with an ability to flexibly manage competing priorities and high-pressure situations Demonstrates a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality Contribute to continuous improvements to current operational processes Demonstrates a high level of initiative and problem-solving skills Ability to work well within a small team Willingness to travel to various worksites throughout the Greater Darwin Region Manages work practices to comply with WHS and other relevant legislation Strong alignment to organisational values Commitment to team member development that supports organisational and individual goals Demonstrates a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality Ability to implement and improve/streamline current operational processes Demonstrates a high level of initiative and problem-solving skills Ability to work well within a small team Willingness to travel to various worksites throughout the greater Darwin Region Manages work practices to comply with WHS and other relevant legislation Willing to obtain qualifications in Human Resources Management First Aid Certificate Computer literacy and data gathering capabilities, Sound knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel Job Type - Full time Salary - $75000 to $85000 per annum Job Location - Northern Territory
