DFP Perth are seeking an experienced Perioperative Services Supervisor to engage on a temporary  contract with a State Government client based in Nedlands. Position: Perioperative Services Supervisor Start Date: Immediate Length of Contract: 7 months Location: Nedlands WA Hours per week: Full Time Salary: $50.00 – $55.00 per hour + Superannuation Key Responsibilities: Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Oversee daily activities within Perioperative Services, ensuring safe work practices and quality service delivery. Establish and manage workload priorities based on service needs. Staff Training and Compliance: Ensure all staff complete mandatory training, including equipment safety, chemical awareness, manual handling, infection prevention, and cleaning protocols. Facilitate ongoing staff development and training to maintain high standards. Recruitment and HR Management: Assist in recruitment, selection, and appointment of staff. Manage orientation, induction, and ongoing staff training. Address HR issues such as grievance resolution, performance management, and conflict resolution. Rostering and Payroll Management: Maintain adequate staffing levels through effective rostering and leave management. Coordinate payroll information, including timesheet verification and payroll queries. Quality Assurance and Audits: Conduct regular quality assurance inspections and audits, including cleaning audits. Supervise and monitor laundry and linen supplies in line with contractual agreements. Protocol Development: Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining protocols, procedures, and guidelines to enhance service delivery. Collaborate with the Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) in planning and reviewing theatre activities.
