About the job Agile Project Manager Facilitate Agile ceremonies for various distributed streams (technical product delivery & DevOps onsite/offshore) including sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand ups, sprint retrospectives, sprint reviews/showcases and release planning Encourage collaboration and proactively seek opportunities to improve collaboration between distributed teams Proactively plan and collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of services for the designated products and projects Assist with internal and external communication by transparently radiating information, espe-cially relative to historical team metrics, progress towards sprint and release goals, and team capacity Manage release plans, iteration plans, and status reporting for the designated projects Assists team with making appropriate commitments to tasks Proactively identifies and removes blockers, limits work in progress and prevents distractions Facilitates frequent retrospectives, sharing metrics to identify and implement improvements Leads agile projects from the initial project backlog creation and planning activities through demonstration and release deployment with responsibility for all aspects of the teams produc-tivity for all phases of the project Leads risk and issue identification, and mitigation activities with the project team including es-calating those in a proactive and professional fashion when appropriate Ensures timely and accurate communication and distribution of project information to all ap-propriate team members and stakeholders Identify differences in understanding and issues as they arise and elevate them to the team for resolution, or to management if needed Manage Sprints - keeping order and ensure process, delivery, priorities are accurate and de-livered on time Work with Product Owners to ensure that testing and feedback is completed in a timely man-ner and meeting the Sprint timelines Facilitate cross functional collaboration and encourage self-management Train, mentor, coach and help set up fit for purpose agile delivery models and behaviours. Drive adoption and readiness of proposed changes Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned
