About the Role: South West Healthcare (SWH) is seeking applications from experienced Registered Nurses to join the Emergency Department team. The department handles approximately 35,000 patients annually, catering to various needs including trauma, mental health, and paediatrics. An expansion project is underway to enhance patient care and efficiency. The successful candidates will work collaboratively with a skilled team in a supportive environment to ensure positive patient outcomes. Warrnambool is a prime location in the South West of Victoria and is only a short drive to shops and neighbouring country towns and attractions, with little to no traffic making for an easy commute to work. Responsibilities: * Provide patient-centred care in the Emergency Department. * Collaborate with various clinical services. * Demonstrate strong commitment to professional confidentiality and best practices. * Maintain a safe and caring environment for patients and families. Requirements: * Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse. * Minimum 12 months recent and relevant emergency nursing experience. * Excellent management and communication skills. * Commitment to ongoing education and professional development. * Postgraduate qualification in critical care or emergency nursing is desirable.
