The Headquarters of our IML Business is in Belgium, however our International business MCC Label is headquartered in the US, making us a truly global business. As one of our Plant/Operations Managers, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success and growth of our operations. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Operations: Responsible for implementing strategy and operational goals to drive operational excellence.Provide clear Leadership and Vision for your teamEnsure production output, quality, and on-time delivery.Assesses on-time delivery performance and develops actions to improve and sustain a high level of performancePlanning and organizing production schedules. Holds direct responsibility for managing cost by effective management of labor, overtime, and expendituresManage P&L for Operations, R&M, and Consumables.Prepare budgets using forecasting models.Set and monitor KPIs and take corrective action to achieve targets.Identify and prioritize improvement opportunities for optimal performance.Allocate resources efficiently to ensure smooth plant operations.Manage a robust preventive maintenance program.Develop waste reduction programs and collaborate with stakeholders for effective solutions.Drive safety, quality, productivity, cost, innovation, and other key areas.Resolve customer complaints promptly and support local sales.Ensure accurate and current data capture and management reporting.People: Clearly communicate roles, responsibilities, and accountabilities to direct/indirect reports.Inspire and motivate your team members through mentoring and training to enhance capabilities.Plan and manage the site team's activities, ensuring targets are met.Establish performance and development plans and provide coaching and feedback.Address personnel issues in a timely and effective manner.Foster a caring and trusting relationship with employees.Projects and Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of customer centricity and continuous improvement.Identify and drive various projects to achieve plant objectives.Collaborate closely with intracompany customers to resolve issues and drive improvement.Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives in line with Operational Excellence systems.Stays abreast of new trends and developments in methods, techniques, equipment, tools, materials, and supplies, which might be incorporated into the production process to increase efficiency or better use of resources. Researches and recommends capital equipment purchasesAbility to cost projects and oversee business costing structureHealth, Safety and Environment: Lead by example and ensure compliance with MCC’s health, safety, and environmental policies and culture.Timely reporting and investigation of safety and environmental incidents.Adapt health, safety, and environmental protocols throughout plant operations.Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or similar field.Minimum of 5 years of effective work experience in plant leadership/management roles.Experience in either printing, packaging, or manufacturing is a must.Proven experience in safety, quality, production, people and culture, finance, and supply chain management.Strong financial acumen and managing budgets (P&L)Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong organizational and time management abilities.Dynamic leadership style, able to gain trust and get the best out of the team.Ability to work cross functionally with Sales, Supply Chain, Finance and HR.Join our passionate team and make a significant impact on our growing operations.
