Randstad has partnered with a market leading organisation in the industrial manufacturing market and been given the opportunity to assist exclusively in the companies search for a Technical Sales Representative, a key vacancy for the business. This is an immediate requirement due to business growth over the last two years and will offer a package around $85k + super with flexibility depending on experience. The role - This role is a fundamental part of the sales team, in which the successful candidate will play an active part in attaining the sales targets and business KPI’s. This role is instrumental in assuring focused productive communication with all clients, internal and external stakeholders such as manufacturing units and local account managers. The role involves resolving all complex requirements from clients to ensure complete customer satisfaction. This will help you build and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders. Key duties of the role - Coordinate internal sales of all products and administrative functions, effectively supporting the daily operations and keep the sales order database updated and current. Owner & key user of CRM system. Required to liaise with corporate business intelligence & implement system strategies locally through train the trainer Maintain liaison with key company managers & engineers keeping them up to date with developments, new clients, complaints etc. and provide regular feedback to the business ensuring that the selling strategies are current and meet the market and economic conditions. Respond to customers’ requests for proposals efficiently in a timely manner following the sales policies and procedures. Preparing quotes from customer's samples, drawings, description and designs. Key requirements for the role - General sales experience of at least 3 years is a minimum requirement or qualifications in sales & marketing. Relevant training in customer service & phone sales of technical products. High level MS office products Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc. SAP or equal experience in other ERP & CRM systems is highly regarded Shows initiative with a “can do attitude” and quick to pick up new products and procedures. Strong MS office and ERP skills are highly regarded along with attention to detail, yet you must demonstrate enough flexibility to work in a high demand environment. The ability to work autonomously is required, however the understanding of a team dynamic is equally crucial when working within a small team.
