Consult with community and form strong connections and relationships built on trust and regular communication with the community. Work directly with young people in the community both in group and individual settings. Facilitate and resource young people's meaningful involvement in the headspace Yulara and Mutitjulu service, including coordinating and documenting input from a Youth Advisory Group across both Yulara and Mutitjulu. Draft action plans in consultation with a Youth Advisory Group and regularly review goals to ensure that achievement of outcomes are culturally specific and appropriate. Create opportunities for young people's active involvement in health promotion activities, resource development and events that are culturally specific, safe and locally relevant, and appropriate. Develop and deliver presentations and/or facilitate workshops to community organisations and young people that are culturally relevant and appropriate. Coordinate and evaluate promotional events and projects including recruiting and supervising youth participants. Assist the Congress clinic to establish and maintain stakeholder relationships and partnerships with stakeholders and service providers in Yulara and Mutitjulu. Participate in team meetings. Assist in ensuring headspace policy and procedures are culturally specific and appropriate and that they are followed, including the collection of data in a way that is culturally appropriate i.e. hAPI. Undertake other duties (and training) that are consistent with the position and classification.
