Credit officer - Accounts and Administration

The Opportunity. This is a great opportunity for a versatile, experienced and team-oriented Accounts Receivable/ Credit Officer to join a leading distributer on a permanent basis. The role can either be full time or 4 days per week for the right candidate. Scoresby Head Office. About the Role. Reporting to ANZ Credit Manager, and working within a small credit team, your objective will be to support the Credit Controllers on a day-to-day basis, in addition to managing your own ledger. Responsibilities will include: • Assisting the Credit Controllers with collection calls, ensuring accounts on stop when overdue • Monitoring the central inbox • Running ATB weekly and end of month for controllers • Escalating concerns on accounts • Liaising with Sales Account Managers regarding accounts on hold • Supporting the finance team with month end • Account queries for invoice and POD requests What's in it for you! • Flexibility with working either 5 full days per week or 4 days per week - Hybrid work arrangements • Working with a well-established organisation that is a household name across Australia, New Zealand, and the UK • Working with a supportive, friendly credit team • Reporting to a highly approachable and supportive ANZ Credit Manager • Onsite car parking • Christmas/New Years close. Skills & Experience Required. Previous proven working experience in a similar role The ability to hit the ground running Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail Proactive and versatile mindset Experience with a mid-tier ERP system such as JDE or Pronto Interested?
