About the Home Our Wodonga care home is situated near the NSW/VIC boarder, in the historic town of Wodonga. It is close to the local community, near the town centre, Murray River, local parks and transport links. It consists of 116 beds, in a one storey, wide building, consisting of low and high care units. Our primary goal is placing our focus on the health, lifestyle and well-being of our residents. About The Role As our Wodonga Care Manager, you will work as part of a team of empathetic and caring clinical professionals. You will support the General Manager in managing and leading the delivery of person-centred care of residents, ensuring the highest standard of ongoing assessment, care planning and evaluation and clinical governance, helping them to live longer, healthier, and happier lives. Benefits of Bupa Free select Health Insurance for your and your immediate family up to $5500* Supportive, collaborative, and caring team culture Continual learning and development opportunities Relocation of up to $8k Accommodation assistance available Competitive salary Internal transfers across our care homes Duties Oversee the daily clinical operations of the care home Support and lead the care home clinical team including coaching, mentoring, staff allocations and delegation, performance management and education Review clinical incidents, complaints and changes Lead compliance with An ACC assessments Manage person-centred care planning and evaluation for residents - including case conferencing with families and carers Prepare and conduct clinical governance audits Oversee medication management in accordance with resident needs and legislative requirements Liaise with allied health, medical practitioners and other services to provide optimal resident care Skills and Experience Current AHPRA is essential Bachelor of Nursing or Equivalent is essential Post grad qualification in aged care highly regarded Experience managing a minimum of 30 beds Proven track record in delivering quality clinical care within an aged care or acute setting Excellent clinical assessment skills and care planning capabilities Highly effective communication, leadership and relationship management skills An understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards and Outcomes Culture We all share the same purpose at Bupa Aged Care.
