We are seeking an outstanding communications professional with high level experience in media, issues and reputation management for large and dynamic organisations. You will have a proven ability to lead, manage and provide expert advice regarding issues management. You will be flexible, creative and have the ability to manage multiple deadlines under pressure.

You will have demonstrated your ability to build trust and provide expert advice to senior management across a broad range of strategic and operational issues. You will have a highly developed understanding of issues, sensitivities and reputational risks in the Australian Government context.

You will thrive in a team environment, build excellent relationships and work effectively with a range of people. You will be confident working in a scientific/technical environment. You will be a strategic thinker who constantly strives for better outcomes, and excellent credentials to help deliver to the Bureau’s Strategy and the Bureau's Communications Plan.
