ADF Rehabilitation Consultant

Working on base at the Gaza Ridge Barracks, is unlike any other Rehabilitation Consultant role. This is a unique opportunity to work with the only rehabilitation service provider to ADF personnel, where you will work collaboratively with your clients & their treaters. Support ADF members who have sustained a physical and/or psychological injury. Work with members to get them fully fit and military ready to defend and protect Australia. The role:

Taking a holistic care approach, work within a multidisciplinary team to support the journey from rehab to healing
Perform a variety of assessments depending on your area of clinical expertise. This could include functional capacity evaluations, worksite, ergonomic or activities of daily living assessments
Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders including the employee, medical specialists, other treatment providers and allied health professionals
Case management. Develop, implement and monitor rehabilitation plans.

What will make you successful:

Current unrestricted registration or membership with the relevant industry body (AHPRA, ESSA)
Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Rehabilitation Counselling, Social Work, Nursing or Osteopathy
Strong clinical reasoning
Ability to engage across multidisciplinary teams to support the achievement of a common goal
Passion to help people rehabilitate
