Located in the CBD, this position is a great opportunity for a payroll officer looking for their next challenge. Position Description Reporting directly into the Payroll Manager and working within a team of 3, your daily tasks will include but are not limited to: End to end fortnightly payroll processing for employees Handling employee queries Processing new starters, terminations, and payroll adjustments Assisting with processing of superannuation, payroll tax/PAYG Assisting with process improvement across both the payroll and time and attendance systems Payroll reporting as well as; Other ad hoc duties assigned by your Manager Candidate Profile The successful applicant will have experience in a similar Payroll Officer position along with the following skills and attributes: Experience working within medium/large scale organisations MicrOpay experience would be advantageous, though not essential Excellent communication skills and a reliable attitude The ability to interpret numerous awards and EBAs Ability to work autonomously as well as within a team Strong attention to detail and positive working approach
