We are currently looking for General Practitioners who would be interested in working at a corrections prison located in the CBD of Melbourne.
This a rare opportunity for a current doctor to work in a highly popular mm1 Melbourne CBD area.
This could be a great option for a doctor with specialist registration with a few years left in your moratorium or an unrestricted VR GP who enjoys correctional work that is looking for a salary contract.
About the role:
- Part time opportunity, Monday to Wednesday, No Weekends
- 8am to 5pm
- $350,000 per year + super (pro-rated)
- Ongoing opportunity
Requirements:
- Specialist Registration with minimum 5 years experience in general practice within Australia
- Australia working rights
- Experience in mental health, drug and alcohol and emergency care (desirable)
- Drivers license
- Ability to work in a prison setting
- Strong communication skills
