- Yorke and Northern Local Health Network, Peterborough - Salary $100,343 - $107,279 p.a. - RN / M2A - Temporary Full Time Contract (up to 18 October 2025) Overview We are excited to offer a fantastic leadership opportunity for an Associate Nurse Unit Manager to support and guide the nursing and midwifery teams in Acute Services at Peterborough Soldiers Memorial Hospital. In this role, the Associate Nurse Unit Manager will collaborate closely with the Nurse Unit Manager to ensure continuity and consistency of care across the unit. You will play a key role in implementing practice changes and managing various responsibilities, including performance management, recruitment, staffing, leave management, rostering, work allocation, attendance oversight, and financial and supply planning and monitoring. Eligibility The ideal candidate will be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and must possess, or be eligible to obtain, a current practicing certificate. Applicants should have a minimum of 3 years of post-registration experience or currently hold a classification as a Clinical Nurse / Midwife. Experience supervising student nurses, enrolled nurses, and less experienced registered nurses is essential.
