Are you an experienced Butcher looking for a new challenge? We are recruiting for a leading supermarket's meat room department.
In this crucial role, you’ll be responsible for upholding high standards of quality, safety, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform meat cutting, processing, and packaging.
- Maintain price integrity and comply with food safety standards.
- Ensure hygiene and cleanliness of the department and equipment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management.
- Assist with ordering, inventory, and stock control.
- Provide excellent customer service and product knowledge.
Essential Experience :
- Previous experience as a Butcher.
- Cert 3 in Meat Processing.
- Familiarity with specialized equipment (cutlery, saws, mincers).
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a cold environment and handle heavy lifting (10-35kg).
