Executive Assistant to Director City Planning Randwick City Council Administration Building, 30 Frances Street, Randwick, New South Wales, Australia Req #358 Monday, 17 June 2024 Closing date: 11:59pm AEST Day 24 June 2024 Status:  Maximum fixed-term full-time (35 hours per week) for a 10 month period from July 2024 to March 2025 Salary: $ 94,331.55 to $103,759.46 per annum pro-rata +11% superannuation  The City Planning Department is currently seeking applications from experienced administration professionals to provide personal support to the Director City Planning. This is an exciting opportunity in a challenging role for 10 Months from 1 July 2024 to 31 March 2025 in an internal temporary relief position. Things you will do: The successful candidate will be responsible for providing an effective and efficient administration support function to managers and teams within the fast-paced department. Additionally, the successful applicant will be required to be a professional first point of contact for external customers and promote the image of Council as efficient, courteous and customer focused.  We trust you will bring: The successful candidate will bring strong administration abilities, superior customer service skills and a sound understanding of local government.  The key skills and experience required for this role is:  Extensive executive support experience, with qualifications in Office Administration or secretarial studies highly desirable Demonstrated practical experience in local government, preferably in Environmental Health, Building and/or Development Assessment, Customer Service or Administration Skills and experience in managing and actioning the workload of the Director and the operational requirements of the Directorate Knowledge and experience in the use of Pathway software, Trim, Technology 1, Bigtincan Hub, InfoCouncil, DBTextworks, Dayforce and other electronic office management systems and computer office software applications Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities Developed research and advanced writing skills with the ability to draft/proofread correspondence and reports Proven ability to work autonomously/unsupervised and be proactive within the role Demonstrated experience in the provision of superior customer service Proven ability to work in a team environment, often under tight time constraints, to achieve divisional and organisational goals Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills Proven ability to maintain confidentiality when dealing with matters of a sensitive nature and to exercise discretion and initiative in addressing issues and problems If you are looking for a new opportunity to apply your skills whilst collaborating with a strong team, please submit your expression of interest.
