As a thought leader and strategic executive, The Program Director plays a pivotal role in shaping, enabling, facilitating, advocating for, and supporting implementation ofThe Queensland Commitment Roadmap, a transformative organisation-wide initiative driving equity and engagement across the institution. The Program Director informs and influences the program’s strategy, directly contributing to UQ's ambitions to be an internationally recognised leader in educational access and success.Key responsibilities will include:Enable, facilitate and empower current and evolving leadership capability and expertise across the institution to deliver agreed outcomes creatively and comprehensively.Work with and through The Queensland Commitment committee structures to influence the integration and progression of The Queensland Commitment’s agenda in university-wide initiatives, policies, and committees.Champion The Queensland Commitment within and beyond UQ, promoting its impactand fostering collaboration to achieve ambitious equity and engagement goals.This is a full-time, fixed-term position for up to 5 years.About You Demonstrated proficiency in fostering strong, trust-based connections with senior-level executives, ensuring continued buy-in and cooperation for strategic initiatives and long-term organisational goals. A successful track record in managing the implementation of organisation wide initiatives including requirements gathering, consultations, framework development, change management and execution. Skilled in navigating complex organisations to ensure the appropriate funds, resources and capabilities are available to deliver the planned output, outcomes, and benefits.In addition, the following mandatory requirements apply:Work Rights: You must have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this appointment to apply.
