The Regional General Manager is a critical leadership position within the North West region of Melbourne. The team is strongly positioned in the market with immediate opportunity to grow our market share, targeting high growth industry segments. You will have a passion for quality client service and understand the unique opportunities and challenges. Although this is a leadership role, we will still expect you to be market facing and for you to build strong connections with the community and Westpac’s key third party partnerships. We are looking for an exceptional leader and high performer to lead this important market as a locally focused, relationship managed business. We’re looking for a seasoned business banking specialist with experience in both sales, people leadership and a strong business lending background. You will be commercially focussed and risk astute, bringing a strong understanding of the financial services market, credit risk and compliance. You truly understand complex lending and will bring integrity and good judgement to the position delivering operational efficiency and sound risk management through periods of change. The ability to adjust to a changing environment while maintaining key priorities and a people centric approach will be essential in this role. A natural people-person, your impressive track record in driving business performance and living a customer centric culture will make you a standout! If you have previously worked with highly regarded institutional clients, professional services, and healthcare clients, this will be advantageous.
