Leading Hand - Reinforced Steel Manufacturing

The available position is located in Capalaba QLD and is Monday - Friday (minimum 38 hours per week).

To be suitable for this role you should have (but not limited to):

• Experience in steel production processes and quality control of the Steel Reinforcing Industry
• High Risk Work License
• Forklift
• Overhead Crane experience
• Car Drivers Licence
• Experience co-coordinating training of staff
• Experience operating production machinery
• Ability to organise, plan, and prioritise work to achieve and meet deadlines.
• High level of numeracy, literacy, and IT skills
• Reliable, responsible, and dependable
• Proactive, forward thinking who can multitask to achieve the best possible outcome while maintaining the highest possible standards of safety, quality & housekeeping
• First Aid qualification (preferred)
• Machinery operating skills
• steel processing equipment (preferred)
• Previous steel industry experience (preferred)

This a permanent position with a starting hourly rate of $36.22 per hour.

You must be able to pass a Pre Employment Medical & a Drug and Alcohol Screen.
