We're a family-owned farming, grazing, and feedlot enterprise near St George in Southwest Queensland, and we’re on the lookout for a keen and motivated Feedlot Stockperson to join our crew. If you love working with cattle and are ready for a hands-on role, this could be perfect for you.

What You'll Be Doing:

Pen Riding: Daily checks on cattle health and performance.
Feed Delivery: Mixing and delivering feed rations to pen bins, including some weekends.
Yard Work: Tasks like weighing, processing, inducting, and loading cattle.
Record Keeping: Accurately tracking feed quantities.
Stock Hygiene: Ensuring cleanliness and hygiene of stock.
Water Quality: Maintaining livestock waters and ensuring quality control.
Machinery Maintenance: Keeping all servicing up to date.
Mustering: As needed.
Accommodation Maintenance: Keeping living areas in good nick.

What We're Looking For:

Communication Skills: Good at talking and listening.
Enthusiasm and Dedication: A positive attitude and commitment.
Responsibility: Ensuring stock is well-managed under current conditions.
Experience: Preferably with working and processing stock.
Willingness to Learn: Keeping up with WH&S; standards and stock performance.
Self-motivation: Able to work independently.
Problem Solving: Quick to tackle any issues that come up.
Basic Computer Skills: Comfortable with simple tech tasks.
