At the very front line of this is our Melbourne Client Services Team which caters for a wide variety of client and staff events ranging from coffee catch ups, sandwich lunches, buffets, and fine dining events. To support their efforts, the Client Services team has a full café set up, with state of the art cafe equipment. The objectives of the Barista is to provide consistently good coffee and the highest level of customer service to our staff who frequent the café. We are currently looking for an experienced professional with a real passion for coffee, food and customer service to join our team on a full time basis. Your Role Reporting to the Head Barista, you will take a 'hands on' involvement with all tasks and responsibilities including: In conjunction with another barista, preparing large volume barista coffee / Making large volumes of shots and frothing and pouring of milk Taking and preparing food orders Occasional opening or closing café required Cashiering Ensure the café area and tables are neat and clean at all times Adhere to all firm policies and procedures, such as confidentiality and WHS Participate in staff meetings to discuss areas of activity, concern and general feedback Other duties as directed by Head Barista / Client Floor Team Leader You will be required to work on a rotating shift roster between the hours of am to 3:30 pm Monday to Thursday. Overtime may be required for from time to time. More About You You will have at least 2+ years previous barista experience in a high volume environment. Other café experience such as preparing food, cash handling cashiering will be highly regarded.
