Warehouse Assistant

Trayne Consulting is currently recruiting for a warehouse assistant to join our client’s busy team, located in Nerang. Our client is a globally recognised brand, that is sold in more than 40 countries and has been established for over 40 years.

Reporting to the Senior Service Technician, we are looking for someone that is ready to take on the day-to-day duties of the warehouse where you will oversee the inbound and outbound deliveries of our clients’ products.

This is a unique role as you will be given the opportunity down the track to be trained as a Junior Service Technician where you will learn the art of refurbishing equipment as well as servicing customers equipment on site.

You will be part of a fun team that prides itself on working together to get the job done to meet the needs of the business and the customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pick and pack warehouse orders for pickup by delivery drivers and customers
• Receipt and process pallets of incoming stock ensuring inventory is correct and not damaged
• Perform monthly stock control of inventory
• Provide exceptional customer service with both internal and external customers
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Drive forklift

Required Skills & Experience:

• Demonstrated experience in a similar role advantageous, however full training will be provided for those with a passion and positive attitude to work
• Good with tools with a technical interest to be trained in the refurbishing of equipment
• Forklift license highly advantageous, however training will be provided
• Clean Australian Drivers License
• Excellent customer service and strong team player with the ability to communicate with both internal and external customers
• Strong time management and organisational skills
• Positive and can-do attitude to take on any new duties where no task is too big or too small

Please note our client remains open during the Xmas/New Year period (with the exception of public holidays). Whilst they run on skeleton staff you will be expected to work every other Xmas period. In addition, due to the nature of the business, preference is that annual leave is taken during May - September where possible

Salary : $44,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Experience :

• Warehouse: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Driver Licence (preferred)
