• control of the service within a legal framework
• effectively manage and support the staff team within legislative requirements and service policy and procedures
• provide a safe and stimulating environment that meets the developmental needs of the children
• being the point of for staff and families
• administration tasks and daily planning
• manage the service budget, and roster
• maintain a quality risk management system

REQUIREMENTS :

• Administration and management skills within a children's service
• Excellent communication skills and positive interactions
• Program planning in line with the MTOP or EYLF curriculum frameworks
• Ability to train, mentor and inspire colleagues
• Qualifications in Children's Services - Certificate, Diploma, Degree OR Equivalent experience working with children and leading a team First Aid qualification and Child Protection certificate or in process of obtaining
