We’re a high energy and thriving agency on the Northside looking for a Property Manger with a bit of pizzazz to hit the ground running.

The Property Management Role includes, but is not limited to :

  • Co-ordinate the welcome and site orientation for all new residents.
  • Prepare lease agreements, Bond Lodgements and manage data entry of all tenant information both electronically and paper-based.
  • Manage and adhere to resident contract/lease enquiries.
  • Liaise with support agencies who are already engaged on behalf of residents as required to assist in the maintenance of their tenancy.
  • Manage tenancy breaches, rent arrears, housing transfers, income assessments and eligibility reviews, disputes, recovery action or eviction and attendance at court hearings, in collaboration with the Property Manager Lead.
  • Co-ordinate and undertake property inspections.
  • Contribute to the budget process and monitor the budget expenditure to meet approved outcomes.
  • Keep up to date with current trends and issues within the property management sector and to attend training when required.
  • Ensure that all residents with deteriorating health or who are at risk of harm to themselves or others are identified and provided support accordingly.

Skills

  • Can do run of the mill property management stuff with your eyes shut.
  • Words like TICA, condition report & RTA don’t ring a blank.
  • Can legally be on the road.
  • Confident - the thought of talking on the phone or making eye contact doesn't have you cowering in the corner.
  • Tenacious - you know when to flex your muscles to get the job done.
  • One of those annoying details people (but a fun version)!
