About the Role As a Floor Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing departmental operations to ensure optimal productivity and adherence to quality and hygiene standards. Your responsibilities will include supervising and motivating departmental employees, maintaining security measures, and facilitating seamless communication with managers on a daily basis. You will be instrumental in driving the production processes forward while upholding the commitment to excellence. Duties Ensuring that all departmental requirements and daily production targets are met Overseeing the accurate and timely completion of relevant documentation. Ensuring that all products are produced according to specifications while meeting stringent health and safety standards. Managing staffs shifts/coverage as well as any disputes Providing continuous training and development opportunities for staff members. Requirements Strong organizational skills and the confidence to direct a team to achieve productivity targets and meet requirements. Previous experience within the meat or food industry is desirable, demonstrating a solid understanding of industry-specific processes and standards. Proficient problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues promptly. Experience in team leadership or a similar role, showcasing your ability to motivate and inspire team members. Knowledge of health and safety standards within the food industry, ensuring compliance with regulations and protocols.
