About the role As an SES Support Officer, you will be part of the Emergency Management and Sustainability team, and will primarily provide project, operational and administrative support related to Council’s support to the State Emergency Service.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Provide support to the Ipswich City State Emergency Service Unit under the direction of the Senior Emergency Management Officer
  • Facilitate and manage administrative, supply, logístical, maintenance, and other service requests related to Council assets, such as facilities, fleet, fixtures, and equipment allocated for use by the State Emergency Service
  • Undertake delivery of assets for repairs and maintenance and transport goods and supplies between facilities.

About you To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Current C class drivers’ licence

What's on offer? This is permanent full-time position at Level 3 with a salary package commencing at $74,497 plus superannuation of up to 12.25%.
