Maintenance Worker

Affordable Recruitment Services are employing casual maintenance workers to work within our clients established maintenance team. The role will see you completing a variety of tasks including general property repairs, preventative maintenance and ground maintenance. This role would really suit an all rounder/handyperson who can work Monday to Friday. - $28.14 - $29.59 p/h based on experience + super and any OT or penalty rates payable for weekend work. - Immediate start - Full time hours Duties include: - Provide a range of general property repairs and maintenance (egs. plaster repair, painting, basic plumbing and carpentry, relocate furniture, high pressure cleaning, changing door handles and locks, rubbish, deliveries, storerooms and maintaining site grounds). - Maintain preventative maintenance schedules - Identify, eliminate and report any potential hazards to staff or residents - Provide excellent customer service to residents, visitors, contractors and staff We are looking for someone who has: - Previous maintenance experience. (Trade qualifications and own tools are not required) - Knowledge of WHS requirements - Strong customer service and communication skills - Basic/moderate computer skills - Good time management and organisational skills. - Previous experience in a aged care, preferred but not essential. - Reliable transport and a licence Due to this tasks being carried out on an residential aged care facility it is essential for this position you have the following: - National Criminal History Check (Police Check less than 3 years old) - 2021 Flu Vaccination - Covid-19 Vaccination
