Electrical Switchboard Builder

Our client is a well respected electrical manufacturer who have been around for over 30 years! An exciting and rare opportunity has become available for 2 experienced Electricians (Switchboard) to join the team.

ABOUT THE ROLE :

• 4 day week (Monday - Friday)
• Free onsite parking
• Clean & Safe working space

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Build a range of low voltage switchboards, cabinets, pillars, and pits
• Read and interpret schematic and wiring diagrams
• Liase with the engineering team to implement new designs into the system
• Work closely with the production team to ensure on time delivery
• General quality checks and testing
• Workshop maintenance

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• 5+ years experience in a similar role
• Trade qualification in Electrical Fitting or equivalent
• Previous experience in switchboard manufacturing or installation
• Ability to read schematic drawings
• Capability to diagnose and resolve electrical problems
• OT available on Fridays & Saturdays
• Able to work 38hrs across 4 days
• Full working rights
• Please note the successful applicant must pass a Pre-employment Medical and obtain a National Police Check. _

Job Types : Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $37.00 - $38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift
• Overtime

Supplemental pay types:

• Overtime pay
