Mental Health Support Workers - Ormond MH22021401 About Us Lifestyle Centred Services is an NDIS and TAC registered provider of supports for people with disability and mental health support needs throughout, we specialise in psycho-social disability and those faced with minor or major mental health issues providing services for people of all ages and backgrounds with a wide range of abilities and support needs.r> Our person-centred approach is underpinned by the understanding that our client's circumstances, needs, wants, and goals, are unique and valued.r> About the Role This role is perfect for someone with a person-centred approach, has a genuine passion for improving the quality of life for those with minor and complex mental health needs, who enjoys a challenge and enjoys the rewarding feeling of making a difference in someone's life.r> We are seeking experienced Mental Health Support Workers for an adult requiring support within the home involving Community Access.r> Shifts available Tuesday and Thursday 10am - 3pm; Fortnightly Sunday 3- 4 hrs Times to be determined Positions be available in surrounding suburbs.r> Pay rate Minimum starting rates between $35. - 39. per hour, plus allowances for evenings, weekends and public holidays based on qualifications and experience.r> Skills and Experience Desirable competencies Experience and or/Academic or professionalexperience in mental health or a similar field, Psychology, Nursing, Community Services, Important Company Work or Social Work Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and driven.r> Reliable, kind and caring nature, with good work ethics Be patient and understanding.r> Well-presented and a professional approach Positively engage, interact, and work with people who have complex needs.r> Possess a comprehensive knowledge of mental health and the issues that are faced.r> Ability to sensitivity, empathy, cultural awareness, and an open-minded approach to personal matters.xperience working with and implementing client goal plans with a demonstrated understanding of client recovery-oriented in a mental health framework.r> What we offer The opportunity to have a rewarding impact on improving people's lives.r> Flexible with ongoing shifts A rewarding career in a growing sector Above Award Rates Mandatory Requirements Current resume and 2 professional referees NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain prior to commencement of employment.r> Working with Children Check WWCC Employer - if supporting U18 Current driver license and own reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance Current First Aid HLTAID011/HLTAID003 & CPR HLTAID009/HLTAID001 Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted and invited to an interview.r> More Information - Please visit our webpage and social media below.r> Webpage - Facebook
