Foundation Recruitment has been exclusively retained to search the market and source a key talent for this well-established, leading concrete sub-contractor. Planning and process has clearly been key elements of this business's success to date, this applies to their team-building strategies as much as the day-to-day operations.

With this in mind, our client is now executing the next part of his growth plan in adding to his team an experienced Construction Manager to drive his overall day-to-day operations.

Having been established itself across the Sunshine Coast region for eleven years, this Tier 2 subcontractor has become a highly regarded, extremely reliable, sought-after contractor contributing to successful projects in both the residential and commercial construction sectors.

Key Skill Sets

• Client account management - (established, repeat business client base, very little business development required)
• Day-to-day coordination of approximately 5 x crews (each with their own supervisor)
• Well-organised in all facets of crew management and able to schedule ahead to ensure maximum efficiency.
• Able to develop and maintain positive, productive relationships with key stakeholders including consultants and suppliers.
• Strong emphasis on good people management (training and development of the current team with a focus on development and retention)
• Technically competent across the construction process with a key awareness of the varied disciplines of concrete placement
• Computer literate - the ability to pick up the current software management system that drives day-to-day operations as well as "take off" estimating packages tools.

To be considered you must possess.

• 10 years minimum of construction industry experience, five of these in leadership roles
• Full driver's license, prepared to partake in a medical and police check.
• Typical week Monday - Friday (early starts to get teams off each morning)
• Must reside on the Sunshine Coast
