We are currently seeking an experienced 3rd or 4th Yr Apprentice Plumber to join our team and finish their trade! With the support of qualified trades people, you will be: Assisting with the installation of plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, fittings, and appliances. Learning how to diagnose and fix plumbing issues like leaks, blockages, and faulty fixtures. Developing the skill to read and understand plumbing blueprints, drawings, and specifications. Helping with pipe fitting tasks, such as measuring, cutting, and fitting pipes using methods like soldering, brazing, or welding Participating in excavation and trenching work when needed to access underground plumbing systems. Collaborating with a team of other tradespeople, like Electricians and Carpenters, to coordinate tasks, communicate effectively, and make sure projects are done efficiently. Taking care of plumbing materials, tools, and equipment. This means organising and keeping track of inventory, making sure tools are in good condition, and safely storing and moving materials around. Following safety protocols, regulations, and guidelines to keep yourself and others safe on the job. This includes wearing the right protective gear, following rules, and maintaining a safe work environment. Learning about the local codes, regulations, and industry standards that apply to plumbing work.
