About the role This role is a critical part of Altora Ag’s Financial Planning and Analysis team and is key in the roll out of divisional level reporting and budgeting processes across the business. The role will support the This role will have a focus on ensuring accuracy and data quality in planning, providing analytical decision support, and improving business partnering. With a broad mandate across the business, this role will also have direct engagement with the integrated post-farmgate divisions, comprising grain trading, transport, storage and merchandise. Reporting to the FP&A; Manager, you main responsibilities will include; - Reporting, planning & forecasting - Preparing regular management reporting and value add analysis to the business to drive results and influence business decisions - Collaborating with key stakeholders to gain an understanding of key drivers for the business and divisions - Playing a lead role in the annual budgeting process - Completing Month end processes - Completing trend and driver (e.g. price / volume) analysis across divisions - Business performance reporting - Ad hoc projects About You - Bachelor’s degree in accounting, commerce or finance - ​Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills - Strong ability to deal with multiple stakeholders - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in commercial finance or Big 4 first mover - CA/CPA qualification (or studying towards) preferred - Experience within agriculture is desired but not essential About us Altora Ag is the largest cropping producer in Australia with over 70 farms across four states.
