RoleThe Manager, Freedom of Information (FOI) manages the departments FOI responsibilities. The role provides specialist technical advice and functional leadership in relation to the management of the department's obligations under theĀ Freedom of Information Act 1982 (the FOI Act).Some of your duties will include: Lead, develop and manage staff within the FOI team.Make decisions on requests made to the department under the FOI Act.Provide authoritative and specialist advice and briefings to Minister's offices, the Secretary, and other departmental staff on complex FOI matters. Qualifications Extensive experience in the application of the Freedom of Information Act 1982 is desirable.A degree Administrative Law would be highly regarded.
