Position Descriptor: Tintinara Area School, part of the Coorong/Mallee Partnership, is located approximately 190kms from Adelaide in a beautiful rural setting. We serve families within a 100km radius, with about 90% of our students living on farms and commuting by bus. As a Preschool to Year 12 school, we offer excellent transition programs appreciated by students and parents. Our active and involved community regularly contributes to school activities. The student population is stable, averaging between 120 and 140 students, with small class sizes and mixed year levels that allow for team teaching and flexible grouping. Our priority is to develop strong community connections and sustainable, personalized secondary education programs. What You Will Do: - Teach English and HASS to upper primary and secondary students. - Create and deliver engaging lesson plans that cater to mixed year-level classes. - Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment. - Collaborate with other teachers for team teaching and flexible grouping. - Participate in school activities and community events. - Contribute to the development of transition programs and personalized education initiatives.
