We are a member-owned music rights management organisation, positioned at the intersection of music, data and technology. We have more than 119,000 members who are songwriters, composers and music publishers. We license organisations to play, perform, copy or record our members’ music, and we distribute the royalties to our members.

We are looking for a motivated and collaborative person to join the Digital Licensing Team as Account Manager, Digital . This is a 12-month fixed term contract role (parental leave cover) based in our Ultimo office (hybrid working available). The Digital Licensing team works across digital media sectors including music streaming, gaming, UGC, live streaming and video on demand. It is a dynamic and evolving area that aims to capture the commercial value of music in digital media on behalf of our members.

As an Account Manager, Digital Licensing your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing all facets of the assigned digital client portfolio to maximise revenue, reporting accuracy, relationship quality, and operational efficiency
  • Utilise excellent communication skills to effectively convey complex licensing information
  • Serve as the bridge connecting internal stakeholders and act as a primary liaison for external clients Maintain a thorough understanding of our licence scheme offerings

To thrive in this role, you'll need:

  • Effective communication skills and the knack for fostering relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • 2-3 years of experience in an account management setting
  • Sound business acumen
  • Adeptness in analysing and interpreting data for reporting purposes
  • Intermediate to advanced capabilities with Microsoft suite, particularly Excel and Word
  • Self-driven and adaptable, capable of reordering priorities as necessary
  • Exceptional attention to detail Familiarity with the digital media market and/or music copyright is highly advantageous
