Nursery Room Leader

As a Nursery Room Leader you will help to provide high-quality care and education for the children. You will help to facilitate a range of activities for the children including singing, maths, cooking, PE, woodwork, and outside, growing vegetables in their allotment. With a range of activities, including soft plays and swimming pools very close by, you will be able to make everyday an adventure. The team are experienced and passionate in everything they do. The in-house chef is also on hand to provide nutritious, healthy food to the children. Everyone works as a team and you will oversee and support your colleagues in the room. Responsibilities: The Nursery Room Leader will create a loving, nurturing, and inclusive atmosphere where each child feels valued and safe Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to nursery practitioners in your room Maintain open and effective communication with parents or guardians, providing regular updates on children's progress and daily activities Share responsibilities, set goals, and ensure a collaborative and effective team environment Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:   Level 3 childcare qualification, such as a CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education or equivalent Prior experience working in a nursery or early childhood education setting is required An understanding of early childhood educational practices, curriculum planning, and teaching methods The ability to organize and manage daily routines, activities, and records efficiently This is good opportunity to step into a Room leader role where you can continue to develop your skills and professional career further.
