Civmec is proud to announce that we have been awarded the Western Ranges project to deliver the heavy engineering requirement for the structural and platework fabrication, detailed earthworks, civil and concrete components, as well as structural, mechanical, piping (SMP), electrical and instrumentation (E&I;) installation. - Permanent FIFO 2 : 1 roster for the length of project! - Long term project! - Develop your career with a tier 1 contractor! - Competitive salary package and benefits The Role - Implement and work to the safety and quality management systems procedures and work instructions - Control and coordinate to execute the project inline with the company’s policies and procedures - Encourage a culture continuous improvement of the company’s procedures - Attend operations meetings - Maintain project files - Preparation of work schedules - Preparation of material requisitions - Preparation of budget estimates - Control project communications (i.e. correspondence, transmittals, faxes, electronic mail, etc.) - Review and approve the project audit schedule - Review and approve technical deviation / query requests and maintain TDQR register - Take timely corrective action to address any issued non conformances - Perform other general duties that may be necessary to suit operational requirements as directed About You - Tertiary qualification in structural, mechanical, civil engineering or construction - Sound knowledge of the application and establishment of project planning, scheduling and cost control tools - Previous experience in the field of project management ideally in the mining, oil and gas sector - Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role - Proven leadership ability
