In 2023, the Health division expanded its digital and medical aesthetics offering with the acquisitions of telehealth provider InstantScripts, as well as the SILK Group, who operates a network of around 140 wholly-owned, joint venture and franchised clinics.  The division employs more than 3600 team members.  What you’ll do: As a key member of the Technology team, the Head of Technology – Retail & Corporate Functions plays a critical role within the business, acting as the central connection between technology and the strategic goals of our retail and corporate functions. This role is designed to ensure that IT initiatives are closely aligned with the company's broader objectives. By partnering with senior business leaders, the successful candidate will serve as a trusted advisor, providing insights into emerging technology trends and translating them into actionable strategies that enhance our competitive advantage. The role ensures that IT functions as a strategic enabler by securing executive buy-in, driving change management, mitigating IT risks, and prioritising projects that align with the key needs of our company-owned Priceline stores, franchise partners, new formats, new brand initiatives, and retail business planning and operations. Other key responsibilities include but are not limited to: Optimising vendor relationships, monitoring performance, managing budgets effectively, and driving continuous improvement Drive technology innovation and thinking across retail business functions Aligns IT strategies with these decisions, ensuring that technology enables the business to adapt to changing retail landscapes and customer Proactively collaborates with senior business leaders to define how technology can support and enable strategies, fostering effective cross-functional collaboration Advocates for IT solutions that enhance the retail business's operations and highlights the value of IT investments in improving store operations, supply chain efficiency, and the online shopping experience, ultimately driving revenue and customer satisfaction Supports new ways of working, including transition to agile models of rapid deployment and continuous product improvement What you’ll bring: Extensive experience in IT, ideally in a fast-paced Retail environment At least 7+ years of experience in Senior IT Leadership/business partnering roles Experience working cross functionally at senior levels in a matrix organisation Outstanding communication skills including the ability to negotiate with and influence internal and external clients and stakeholders Proven ability to lead, mentor and build sustainable productive working relationships Strong business acumen, ability to take a strategic view as well as explain complex topics succinctly Understanding of the current and emerging technology and their potential business impact Collaborative by nature with ability to show initiative, innovation and creativity Appropriate Tertiary qualification ideally at post graduate level Why us?    Ongoing professional development and career opportunities across the Wesfarmers Health.
