The Opportunity : Our welcoming Sydney Campus has an opportunity for a Specialist Learning Support Teacher to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis. About You : All applicants will need an excellent understanding of the Australian Curriculum and Syllabus, be an NSW registered teacher and have relevant teaching and tertiary qualifications. As a Learning Support Teacher, you will be skilled in the ability to identify and evaluate student needs, differentiate instruction for students along all parts of the learning spectrum, collect, analyse, and effectively utilise data, create and implement individualised education plans and be able to provide professional guidance to staff. Experience working with students with ASD is essential. Strong ability to effectively engage and support teenage boys is highly regarded. You will need to be comfortable stepping away from traditional classroom teaching practices, to embrace modern teaching methods and technologies including video conferencing and online resources.
